Project Description
What is electrocautery?
Electrocautery is a technology that generates high frequency electromagnetic waves. These generated waves, on the one hand, create sudden heating in the tissue, evaporate the liquid of living cells and break up the cell membrane and destroy it, on the other hand, they make coagulation (coagulation). Thus, they perform the coagulation, cutting or destruction processes.
For what purposes can electrocauteries be used in dermatology?
Fleas (acrochords)
Papilloma
Seborrheic keratosis
Sebaceous hyperplasia
Epidermal cysts
Molluscum contagiosum
It can be used in the treatment of pyogenic granuloma.
